The rest of the league will want that one back. Brashard Smith tumbling to the Raiders in the 212th pick is a gift they did not have to think twice about.

They will need Morrison to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. The dealing alone would carry a lesser class.

The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. With edge rusher, offensive lineman and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on safety is the choice that costs them.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
