The Browns got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the D. The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Browns reached some 229 spots for Gee Scott Jr., and value like that does not grow back.
The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. The Edwards pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. The hoard sets up next April more than it helps this September.
Job largely done: quarterback settled and 9 of 9 of the wish list covered.
It is a steep hill from here, and the grade knows it.
