The phones sank the Browns this weekend: D. Boards are made to be trusted, and the Browns shredded theirs for KJ Jefferson. He came off 114 spots early, and the room will hear about it.
The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. Spending an early pick on linebacker with edge rusher open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.
That is a safety worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.
Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and edge rusher is still a hole.
