Thirty-one other rooms let J'Mari Taylor slide, and the 49ers were the ones holding the card at the 172nd overall pick. Highway robbery.

A whole weekend of picks and wide receiver is somehow still a want. Parker II has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. Offensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.

Quietly one of the better values of the day, Julian Neal at No. 92. A quiet depth add at a thin-ish spot.

Jalon Kilgore in the 127th pick is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.

They let Parker Brailsford come to them and pounced at Round 4, Pick 33. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
