Nothing loud, just a tidy B- for the 49ers.

Call it larceny. Charles Grant sat on the board until slot 113, and the 49ers did not need to be asked twice. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

The Simpkins III reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

They went 5 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but interior defensive lineman.
