You can draft well and still miss the point. The Texans did plenty of tidy work and somehow never got around to running back, which was the need that mattered most.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes. The skill positions did well by the weekend.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
