The war room fell hard for Jackson Slater, and it showed at the Round 4 slot: 36 picks ahead of a board that had other ideas.

The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer. That is a running back worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

On the needs board they went 7 of 8, with offensive lineman the one that mattered most. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
