The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The 49ers watched Jalen Milroe slide 52 picks past his grade and did not hesitate.

The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The cost of the Colby reach is exactly the players who went right after him.

They left with offensive lineman solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
