For all the names on the card, the loudest question went unanswered. The Steelers walked out of the weekend still thin at quarterback, a hole that has a way of deciding seasons. A dependable weekend that grades out a B-.

Landing Williams that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. Cornerback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
