HeySissy DRAFTING FOR THESeahawks
Draft Grade — Seahawks
Overall

FutureB-
A respectable, level-headed haul for the Seahawks: B-. Nobody else had Jaishawn Barham anywhere near Round 2, Pick 32. The Seahawks did, by 57 spots, and that gap is the whole story. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B-.
The wide receiver spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The Jackson pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
Pick Analysis
Pick32
Rnd1
Sonny Styles
In the 32nd pick they get a three-down second-level presence, outstanding value to boot. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Pick64
Rnd2
Jaishawn Barham
A big swing on Jaishawn Barham at the Round 2 slot, well ahead of any board in the building. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick96
Rnd3
Jalon Kilgore
This one needs a full-page explanation: Jalon Kilgore in pick No. 96, miles early. A minor itch, scratched.
Pick188
Rnd6
Domani Jackson
Domani Jackson at pick 188 is money in the bank, a cornerback taken below his worth. A luxury on a unit that was already in good shape.
