The Cowboys got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the C-.

You can lose a draft before you make a pick. The Cowboys did it at the trade table, overpaying to chase players the board did not price nearly as high.

Brown has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. The offensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The Wheatley pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged.

Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.

It grades out a shrug today, with plenty of room to move either way.
