A sensible, unshowy class lands the Packers a B-.

Call it a hunch or call it a gamble, but the Packers spent Round 5, Pick 21 on Connor Colby, a name most had 25 spots down the list. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Belton.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
