The search is over. The Bears handed the keys to Caleb Williams, and the whole operation now runs on his development. It nets out to a B+, which feels about right.

Every board in the league had Barner lower, and that gap is the story. That Thomas Jr. pick is the receipt they will wave around later. They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own.

They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
