The Bears left with their quarterback, and a B+ to match.

Start where it matters. The Bears took Caleb Williams to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one. It does the job without flash, and the B+ reflects it.

The cost of the Smith reach is exactly the players who went right after him. They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast.

Spending an early pick on OLB-EDGE with running back and cornerback open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. For all the activity, running back went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Getting Robinson where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
