After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Bears committed. Caleb Williams is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline. The board rewarded a patient, disciplined weekend with a A-.

The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. They banked enough surplus on Devonshire to cover a lot of smaller sins. The interior defensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

In short, they turned a good board into a better roster, and it shows.
