After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Bears committed. Caleb Williams is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline.

The cost of the Williams reach is exactly the players who went right after him. A whole weekend of picks and interior defensive lineman is somehow still a want.

They will answer for taking DT-EDGE early while interior defensive lineman and linebacker went begging. Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Sainristil.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
