After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Bears committed. Caleb Williams is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline. Very little went wrong, and the A- is earned.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. The cost of the Smith reach is exactly the players who went right after him. That Rice pick is the receipt they will wave around later.

They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

In the end it comes back to Caleb Williams, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
