The rest of the league will want that one back. Will Howard tumbling to the Bears in pick 159 is a gift they did not have to think twice about.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. Job largely done: running back settled and 5 of 8 of the wish list covered. The trades cost them a sliver of value they did not need to spend.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
