The Bears kept it disciplined and banked a B.

The Bears went off the board in a big way for Myles Jones, 22 picks early. Conviction is one thing; this is another.

The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Landing Dixon that late papers over a lot of smaller sins.

Edge rusher was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. The trade work was a quiet net positive.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
