Start where it matters. The Bears took Caleb Williams to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one. A dependable weekend that grades out a B.

However the rest shakes out, Irving at that price is a win they earned. The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer. It is a bet on later, and a defensible one for a team playing the long game.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
