After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Bears committed. Caleb Williams is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline. The good and the questionable cancel out to a C+.

They are betting Smith proves the room right and everyone else wrong. Landing Hopper that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down.

That running back hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

A perfectly average weekend, for better and for worse.
