The Bears drew a line under the quarterback search with Williams: C.

The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Bears spent their marquee pick on Caleb Williams, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback. It lands right in the middle: a C, no more, no less.

However the rest shakes out, Polk at that price is a win they earned. The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. The interior defensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

Zinter has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

If Caleb Williams and a couple of the gambles land, hindsight will be kinder than this grade.
