The Bears did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and D.J. James fell into the 122nd overall pick. Very little went wrong, and the A- is earned.

They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. If Powers-Johnson pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Add it up and few war rooms did better this weekend, Marvin Harrison Jr. and all.
