Bears 24
Draft Grade — Bears
Overall

ValueB-

FutureB-
The Bears left with their quarterback, and a B- to match. They finally answered the question that shadows every other one. Caleb Williams is the Bears' quarterback, full stop. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.
A whole weekend of picks and interior defensive lineman is somehow still a want. Getting Zinter where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. They are betting Paul proves the room right and everyone else wrong.
A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
Pick Analysis
Pick1
Rnd1
Caleb Williams
No drama and no debate, Caleb Williams went about where he belonged in the 1st pick. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick9
Rnd1
Dallas Turner
In pick 9 they get a double-digit-sack hope at fair value. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Pick75
Rnd3
Patrick Paul
A conviction pick on Patrick Paul at the 75th overall pick that the board grades a round light. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick122
Rnd4
Zak Zinter
They read the board right and Zak Zinter was the payoff at pick No. 122. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
