Somebody in pick 122 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Bears sat still while Xavier Legette, the No. 52 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. No fireworks, but a solid B.

The whole projection now runs through Caleb Williams; hit there and everything else looks smarter. The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Reaching for Trotter Jr. left real value on the table behind him.

Small wins on the phones, but wins all the same.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
