The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Bears spent their marquee pick on Caleb Williams, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback.

If Smith pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. The dealing alone would carry a lesser class.

However the rest shakes out, Fashanu at that price is a win they earned. That running back hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

The Solomon pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at running back, cornerback and other spots.

Add it up and this is about as clean as a draft weekend gets.
