Washington should have been long gone. The Bengals pounced, and earned a B.

Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Bengals were there to profit. Tahj Washington, the No. 179 name on the board, should have been long gone before pick 224. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped tight end, which is a strange place to end up. Cornerback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the tight end spot they never got to.
