Jayden Daniels is the bet, and the class will be judged on how it pays off. That offensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

With offensive lineman and interior defensive lineman unsolved, spending premium capital on cornerback is the choice that costs them. That Neal pick is the receipt they will wave around later.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
