Draft Grade — Titans
Overall

FutureB-
The Titans let Higgins fall and pounced. Final grade: D-. Nobody had Ollie Gordon II this high, and it is not close. The Titans reached 45 spots to get him at the Round 4 slot. It grades a D-, and the process earned it.
On value alone, Higgins makes the weekend a net positive. They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. Leaving offensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.
They left with running back solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
A rough weekend that leaves the roster with more questions than answers.
Pick Analysis
Pick102
Rnd4
Sebastian Castro
A quiet steal in pick 102: Sebastian Castro for less than the market said. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
Pick119
Rnd4
Ollie Gordon II
This one needs a full-page explanation: Ollie Gordon II in pick No. 119, miles early. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick142
Rnd5
Donovan Edwards
A swing that ignored the value entirely, Donovan Edwards well ahead of where he belonged. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick168
Rnd5
Nazir Stackhouse
A big swing on Nazir Stackhouse at slot 168, well ahead of any board in the building. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick180
Rnd6
CJ West
CJ West in slot 180 is a reach so steep the board needed a second look to believe it. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick237
Rnd7
Bryson Nesbit
They reached a country mile for Bryson Nesbit at the 237th pick, and the board is aghast. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick241
Rnd7
Jay Higgins
You do not let a linebacker like Jay Higgins reach pick 241 and blink. They did not. A need, and now a little less of one.
