Draft Grade — Ravens
Overall D-
ValueB NeedB TradesF FutureB-
The Ravens found their guy under center in Daniels: D-.

Call it belief, call it a gut call, but Kendall Milton at the Round 7 slot is 104 spots clear of consensus, and that is the headline. Hard to defend, and the D- reflects that.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. Jayden Daniels gives the offense a face and a plan, and the grade leans heavily on whether he hits.

For all the activity, tight end went untouched, which is hard to explain. The Walker pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and tight end is still a hole.

Pick Analysis
Pick9 Rnd1 Jayden Daniels
In Round 1, Pick 9 they get a passer to set the clock by. A real need, handled.
Pick21 Rnd1 Keon Coleman
In the 21st pick they get a home-run threat at receiver at fair value. A clean fit for the roster.
Pick24 Rnd1 Terrion Arnold
In pick 24 they get a ballhawk on the outside. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Pick36 Rnd2 Bralen Trice
By-the-book stuff, Bralen Trice at slot 36 squarely in line with his ranking. It fills a real need, too.
Pick40 Rnd2 Tyler Guyton
Tyler Guyton in the 40th overall pick is exactly on the number, no argument either way. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick62 Rnd2 Edgerrin Cooper
Good price on Edgerrin Cooper in No. 62, a hair ahead of his grade with no real quibbles. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
Pick64 Rnd2 Devontez Walker
Devontez Walker at Round 2, Pick 32 is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick67 Rnd3 Cooper Beebe
Cooper Beebe in pick 67 is early enough to raise a brow, if not a full objection. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick74 Rnd3 Trey Benson
Nothing to complain about; Trey Benson went a shade earlier than his grade, which is fine. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick93 Rnd3 Tyler Davis
Tyler Davis at the 93rd overall pick is right where the board had him, plain and simple. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick100 Rnd3 Mike Sainristil
They will replay Mike Sainristil at slot 100 for years; that is how good the value is. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick102 Rnd4 Josh Newton
Josh Newton in pick No. 102 should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick130 Rnd4 Darius Robinson
Darius Robinson in the Round 4 slot is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. The roster fit checks out.
Pick134 Rnd4 Malik Washington
Malik Washington slid further than he should have, and the 134th pick is lovely value for the wide receiver. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick167 Rnd5 Jaylan Ford
Jaylan Ford at slot 167 is a clear overpay, with better names still on the board. Insurance at a position that did not really ask for it.
Pick251 Rnd7 Kendall Milton
Kendall Milton in the 251st pick is a reach so steep the board needed a second look to believe it. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
