A solid, sensible weekend for the Bears: B-.

Nobody else had Thor Griffith anywhere near Round 5, Pick 36. The Bears did, by 144 spots, and that gap is the whole story. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped cornerback, which is a strange place to end up. Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Emmanwori.

Job largely done: edge rusher settled and 6 of 8 of the wish list covered. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the cornerback spot they never got to.
