Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Bills spent the Round 6 slot on J.J. Weaver, a name the board had a full 113 spots lower.

However the rest shakes out, Coleman at that price is a win they earned. Spending an early pick on DT-EDGE with interior defensive lineman, quarterback and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to.

They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it. They went 5 of 9 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the interior defensive lineman spot they never got to.
