Nobody had Deone Walker this high, and it is not close. The Bills reached 24 spots to get him at Round 2, Pick 30. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

That linebacker hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Interior defensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.

A fair-value weekend of trading, no edge to be found.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
