Draft Grade — Bills
Overall B-
ValueB- NeedB TradesB- FutureB-
A respectable, level-headed haul for the Bills: B-.

There is reaching, and then there is Luke Elzinga at No. 177. The Bills jumped the board by 38 and dared it to prove them wrong. More right than wrong, and a B- to match.

The safety spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. However the rest shakes out, Ferguson at that price is a win they earned. On the needs board they went 6 of 9, with linebacker the one that mattered most.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but safety.

Pick Analysis
Pick30 Rnd1 Jahdae Barron
In pick 30 they get an island corner, outstanding value to boot. More want than need.
Pick56 Rnd2 Alfred Collins
A straight-up fair deal on Alfred Collins at pick No. 56, value and slot in agreement. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick62 Rnd2 Omarr Norman-Lott
A premium they did not need to pay, Omarr Norman-Lott a notch or two before his time. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick109 Rnd4 Oluwafemi Oladejo
They reached a country mile for Oluwafemi Oladejo at Round 4, Pick 7, and the board is aghast. The roster fit checks out.
Pick132 Rnd4 Terrance Ferguson
Terrance Ferguson at the Round 4 slot is the sort of value that quietly wins a weekend. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick143 Rnd5 Kyle Williams
A swing that ignored the value entirely, Kyle Williams well ahead of where he belonged. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick169 Rnd5 Ajani Cornelius
Ajani Cornelius at pick 169 is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick170 Rnd5 Jack Kiser
Jack Kiser in pick No. 170 is the kind of reach that only looks good if he outplays it. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick177 Rnd6 Luke Elzinga
They reached into another round for Luke Elzinga, and the board is nowhere close to agreeing. They doubled down on a strength rather than a need.
