Larceny in the Round 7 slot lands the Commanders a A, Clark and all.

The Commanders did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and De'Corian Clark fell into pick 223. A near-flawless weekend of work, and a A to cap it.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. They will need Hall to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

The veteran additions, Ryan Tannehill chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not. Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 8 of 8 of the wish list covered.

Bottom line, with Brock Bowers leading the way, this is a class that should pay off fast and rarely be regretted.
