The Chargers treated their own grade as gospel and everyone else's as noise, spending Round 7, Pick 5 on J.J. Weaver a full 92 spots early.

The Washington steal is the beam this whole class leans on. The phones were where this weekend was really won.

They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
