If confidence were a draft strategy, the Broncos would have aced it. Cobee Bryant at the Round 4 slot is 64 spots clear of where he belonged.

That is an offensive lineman worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. The tight end hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

Adding Brevin Jordan by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the tight end spot they never got to.
