Every other box got a look, but edge rusher did not. The Browns will head to camp with the same hole they walked in with.

They will need Bowman Jr. to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. On the needs board they went 8 of 9, with quarterback the one that mattered most. The back end got a real overhaul.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
