Call it belief, call it a gut call, but Aaron Lewis at pick No. 256 is 118 spots clear of consensus, and that is the headline.

They banked enough surplus on Stutsman to cover a lot of smaller sins. The whole projection now runs through Cam Ward; hit there and everything else looks smarter. For all the activity, cornerback went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Quarterback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
