The 49ers kept it disciplined and banked a B-.

Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Diego Pavia got past him. The 49ers do not have to explain a thing at the 125th pick. A dependable weekend that grades out a B-.

They will need Kamara to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. For all the activity, running back went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Offensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but running back.

Pick25 Rnd1 Isaiah World

In No. 25 they get a long-term starter on the line, a steep price for the projection. Exactly the need they had to hit.

Pick57 Rnd2 Brian Parker II

A big swing on Brian Parker II at slot 57, well ahead of any board in the building. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.

Pick89 Rnd3 Mikail Kamara

Mikail Kamara at pick No. 89 is an overdraft of the loud, memorable kind. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.

Pick125 Rnd4 Diego Pavia

They barely believed it either: Diego Pavia still on the board at the Round 4 slot. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.

Pick133 Rnd4 Jalon Kilgore

Jalon Kilgore at pick 133 is money in the bank, a safety taken below his worth. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
