You can draft well and still miss the point. The Cardinals did plenty of tidy work and somehow never got around to quarterback, which was the need that mattered most. Good, not great, and the B says as much.
Getting Jeanty where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. Running back is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.
Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
