Call it larceny. Brian Thomas Jr. sat on the board until the Round 2 slot, and the Buccaneers did not need to be asked twice.

They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it. Offensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
