A masterclass at the trade table lands the Buccaneers a B.

Nobody else had CJ West anywhere near the 157th overall pick. The Buccaneers did, by 60 spots, and that gap is the whole story. Good, not great, and the B says as much.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. The Wester pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch.

The Ransom pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with offensive lineman, tight end and other spots still on the board. For all the activity, offensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Good work on the whole, with offensive lineman the one box left unchecked.
