The Buccaneers let Williams fall and pounced. Final grade: B-.

You could see the war room lean forward. Kyle Williams at Round 7, Pick 19 is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.

The interior defensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Hairston has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. The Paul Jr. pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with interior defensive lineman, offensive lineman and other spots still on the board.

On the needs board they went 2 of 8, with cornerback the one that mattered most.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but interior defensive lineman.
