Draft Grade — Ravens
Overall A-
ValueA- NeedA- TradesA FutureB
Jackson should have been long gone. The Ravens pounced, and earned a A-.

The rest of the league will want that one back. Khyree Jackson tumbling to the Ravens in the 134th overall pick is a gift they did not have to think twice about.

The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Cornerback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Bottom line, with Amarius Mims leading the way, this is a class that should pay off fast and rarely be regretted.

Pick Analysis
Pick30 Rnd1 Amarius Mims
In No. 30 they get a plug-and-play piece up front at a price that makes it sweeter. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick62 Rnd2 Ennis Rakestraw Jr.
Ennis Rakestraw Jr. at the 62nd pick is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick93 Rnd3 Brenden Rice
They robbed the room for Brenden Rice here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick130 Rnd4 Ray Davis
Ray Davis in Round 4, Pick 30 is a gift, value that borders on unfair. It fills a real need, too.
Pick134 Rnd4 Khyree Jackson
Khyree Jackson in the Round 4 slot is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick178 Rnd6 Nathan Thomas
No drama and no debate, Nathan Thomas went about where he belonged in slot 178. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
