Getting Ford where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. With interior defensive lineman unsolved, spending premium capital on OLB-EDGE is the choice that costs them.

They punted on interior defensive lineman, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Reaching for Burton left real value on the table behind him.

In the end, a coin-flip class: fine today, with a wide range of outcomes ahead.
