Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Chiefs were there to profit. Kitan Oladapo, the No. 166 name on the board, should have been long gone before the 207th pick.

They will need Jones to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.
