A puzzling weekend of work from the Browns: D+.

The Browns looked at the value chart, folded it up, and took Rueben Owens II at pick No. 2 regardless, 297 picks early. A weekend that fought the value and lost, hence the D+.

For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain. Myles Murphy gives the group a proven body among the projects. They went 7 of 9 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

The skill positions did well by the weekend.

Bottom line, they will be counting on several picks to beat their grades.
