The Broncos bet the future on Nix. The board says D.

The phones were a trap the Broncos kept walking into, shipping out surplus on nearly every deal. It grades a D, and the process earned it.

Bo Nix gives the offense a face and a plan, and the grade leans heavily on whether he hits. Spending an early pick on cornerback with edge rusher open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to.

Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The Hall pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over.

Edwards falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and edge rusher is still a hole.
