The Bears answered their biggest question with Williams. Grade: D-.

The trade table was where it all came apart. The Bears shipped out far more than they hauled back, and no amount of spin dresses up the bill. Too much went sideways, and the D- is the honest tally.

Everything downstream of Caleb Williams depends on Caleb Williams, and the building knows it. Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. They will need Abrams-Draine to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

However the rest shakes out, Fuaga at that price is a win they earned.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, interior defensive lineman very much included.
